Welcome to the July Newsletter from the team at Home Sous Vide.

This month we want to focus on something we create, compliment, infuse and balance in our everyday cooking …it’s Flavour!

We all know what it is like to sit down to a hearty meal that brings back the comfort of childhood memories and simpler times. But what is it that lifts this dish to being a truly satisfying and delicious meal? It all comes down to the balance of seasoning that compliments the natural flavours.

Whilst we still often enjoy some of the old staples, palates are constantly evolving and people on the hunt for exciting flavour experiences in the 21st century. We now look to experiment with taste, discover complimentary ingredients and infuse flavour to enhance our everyday eating and drinking experiences. Smoked butter, herb infused fruit, flavoured oils and even your favourite smoking cocktails are all examples of the way we are learning to stimulate our senses and re-invigorate our intrigue to find that perfect flavour combination.
